I’m pleased to announce that the price hikes that are coming as of December 1 will be super mild, with $5.99 transfers and new registrations for Domainer Club members and Five Dollar Friday basically remaining Five Dollar Friday for everyone, except that prices will go from $5 to $5.99… not exactly a major change!
More specifically, here’s what you can expect:
- Domain transfer prices for Domainer Club members will go up, but only from $5.55 to $5.99
- Domain registration prices for Domainer Club members will go up, but only from $5 to $5.99
- Everyone, so people who are not in the Domainer Club included, can take advantage of Five Dollar Fridays, except that once again, $5 will become $5.99
- Dot com transfers for people NOT in the Domainer Club will be $7.99
- Discounts are also offered for other extensions. For transfers, you will get $3.09 off for 100 domains if you are not a Domainer Club member and $5.09 off for up to 1,800 names for Domainer Club members

Do keep in mind that they are losing money on these deals and basically considering them a marketing expense, so don’t forget to support them on social media by interacting with posts that are related to them and if you are a NamePros member, you can click HERE and vote for them if you believe they deserve the registrar of the year award (I do).
Doing things that support them probably won’t take more than a few seconds of your time and if we as an industry are serious about encouraging innovation by also giving rather than always taking, it’s the practical as well as ethical thing to do. We’re in this together at the end of the day and if an industry of lone wolves becomes a pack, we’ll all be better off for it!
