Some New NamePros Landing Page Features and How I Tweaked Mine

Alright, so NamePros just shipped another round of updates to their landers, focused heavily on better presentation, cleaner seller branding and more flexibility for conversions.

Wouldn’t say it’s “OMG, game-changing!” stuff but you don’t need game-changes to boost conversion rates 🙂

So first of all, and this is a change I took advantage of for my own domains, both the Short Description and Seller Description now support multiple lines, which makes your landers feel way more readable and intentional.

That means you can format a simple message like this:

MakeInquiry.com
This domain is for sale.
Serious inquiries only.

… as opposed to not having the option of for example adding the “Serious inquiries only.” part to weed out a few tire kickers.

You can go to Settings -> Content and configure the text that appears right below the domain name on the lander to ensure you maximize results when it comes to whichever action you are optimizing for.

Also, seller cards got a decent upgrade.

More specifically, the “Seller description” now supports more advanced display options, like embedded images, alignment controls and richer layout options.

This kind of opens the door to custom contact panels, branded visuals and more polished sales pages.

Next, the display name is now more flexible and can be configured in three distinct ways:

  • Plain text (no link)
  • Linked to your website (like your portfolio site)
  • Disabled completely

And if you disable the display name but still provide a Website field, NamePros will show a new globe icon linking to your site.

It’s kind of cool that you can create different seller-card styles such as contact icons only, seller descriptions only or both.

There are also a bunch of other usability improvements like a Retry button for unverified domains, faster additions in the Detected tab and some optimizations to automated verification.

If you want to learn more or ask questions, I’d highly recommend heading over to the NamePros thread dedicated to the landers by clicking HERE… only 133 pages, you’ll read it in a jiffy 😀

namePros have really gone above and beyond with their landers. Any domain investor should really give them a try at least.
